The day began with prayer and songs. In the first half of the day, the children had spiritual classes, where a certain topic was discussed, for example, younger children were familiarized with the history of the creation of the world, watched a cartoon about the saints, older children studied such topics as "Freedom", "Life", "Ideals", "Angels".
In the afternoon children participated in various games, competitions, were engaged in creativity, where children made crafts, realized their ideas, as well as engaged in cooking, went on rides, played mini plays.
One day was dedicated to St. Joseph in our church this day is Wednesday. The children said a prayer of thanksgiving to our Lord Jesus Christ, asked for the blessing and protection of St. Joseph, made a procession with the figure of the great saint, then wrote their prayer requests to St. Joseph, the patron saint of our parish.
The day concluded with Holy Mass, preceded by the joint prayer of the Rosary.
In addition to entertainment, there was also a time of labor: girls and boys were on duty in the kitchen, sleeping quarters and in general on the territory of the recreation area.
At the end of our vacation we had a "Fun Night" where the children were in the role of the angels Archangel Michael and his army that fights against the forces of darkness.
We thank God for all the participants, the good weather, and the camp organizers who help projects like this come true.
