This weekend our parish was visited again by the villages of. Jesuella and s. Amalia from the Congregation of the Elizabeth Sisters.
At this meeting, the little ones learned what Advent is, what the Advent wreath is for, and why there are four candles in the middle. The sisters also explained how important it is for everyone to make a spiritual program for Advent in order to be better prepared for Christ's Birthday! After all, we do not go to the birthday party empty-handed, and it is worth considering what each of us can give to Jesus.
After a short theory the children started practicing! We sang the song "Advent is coming joy is near" and each child made a small Advent wreath! It turned out very beautiful! Then, having a hearty lunch, the children went outside, rode on cotton candy, played snowballs and breathed fresh air!
The meeting ended with a Holy Mass, and the children brought their wreaths to the Sunday service for consecration!
Thank you sisters for paying attention to our parish!
