Today, on the 5th Sunday of Lent, the Way of the Cross of the Family was read in our church.
The family is the hope for the Church and for the world. In good families, in the development of deep family relationships, and in the development of the spiritual life of families, we see hope for our parishes, the Church and society.
Each Way of the Cross helps us to clarify some personal issues. This experience of Christ's Passion encourages us to follow the way of the cross, knowing that it is also our way. But we are enlightened by the certainty that the way does not end at the cross, but goes on to the Kingdom of Life and the radiance of Glory, which no one will extinguish. Let us pray today for the family, for the strengthening of marriage, for peace and respect in families.
